An air of faded grandeur pervades this large building. Built in 1880 as the Hazlewood Hydro, it saw its best days early in the last century. It was taken over by the RAF in the Second World War. Nowadays it is part of the Strathmore Group, relying on coach parties for much of its business. Also popular with golfers, for the course adjacent to the property.
