Hog Lane ... off Hog Lane

A strange title perhaps, but to follow Hog Lane eastwards from its junction near Woodfield Spring Farm (see Image]) to Ashley Green, twice one has to turn right onto what is apparently a side lane, but is still named Hog Lane - whereas to continue past the junction would be to be taking a differently named lane - in the first instance Northchurch Lane and in this second instance, Johns Lane. So this photo is looking along the offshoot Hog Lane as it heads for Ashley Green.
