The Elizabeth line will divide at Whitechapel, one branch going to Shenfield in Essex; the other going across the Thames to Abbey Wood east of Woolwich. https://www.crossrail.co.uk/route/maps/route-map Pictured is an existing platform for the District and Hammersmith & City lines.
