Although not part of the visitor experience to Hidcote Manor this pair of prosaically named cottages is owned by the National Trust and, apparently, leased out. Listed Grade II https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1305870 the listing doesn't indicate the age of the property. They were restored in the 20th century by Lawrence Johnston, the then owner. Since he donated the estate to the Trust in 1947 the restoration must have been done in the 1920s or 1930s. The north-facing thatched roof is heavily overgrown with moss.
