This is a small portion of Gloucester's Roman Wall which can be found in Gloucester Furniture Exhibition Centre. It was open to the public on this day as part of the Heritage Open Days. This is claimed to be the oldest Roman masonry in Britain, erected in the middle of the first century AD constructed by Vespasian while he was commanding the second Legion.
