Statue of James Steel

The Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1196942 statue of James Steel sculpted in 1859 by William Frederick Woolington originally stood in Market Street. It was moved to English Street, outside Marks & Spenser, on 6th August 1989. The white marble statue is mounted on a Dalbeattie granite base and plinth.
