National Cycle Route 1, Former Castle Eden Branch

Former railway now used as the National Cycle Route 1. This Castle Eden Railway didn't actually pass through Castle Eden, it ran from Bowesfield Junction, Stockton to Wingate where the line continued onward to Sunderland via the Durham & Sunderland Railway.
