It was a shock to see the blue horizon, but then the view is from the southern foothills of Sutton Coldfield. Kempson Avenue is a long cul-de-sac of mostly detached houses with spacious frontages, some completely paved over for parking. The dark woodland in the distance is thought to be Jones's Wood in Walmley.
