This is a surprising oasis in a very built-up area although not far from Tooting Bec Common. For a brief history of the club see https://www.streathamparkbowlingclub.org/index.php/history Before the First World war it was shown as a tennis ground - https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=18&lat=51.42956&lon=-0.14237&layers=168&b=1 The occasion was a hot Sunday afternoon at the start of September when the South London Jazz Orchestra were playing for the Furzedown Festival. This was the Rose Garden after the concert started.
