Walter's Mill is first mentioned in the first half of the 19th century. It was wind-powered until 1911 when it was burnt out. It carried on working until the early 1930s and was converted to a house in 1962. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter%27s_Mill,_Mark_Cross
