Situated near Whitney Farm, north of Merthyr Mawr, part of a public footpath on the Bridgend Circular Walk. The picture was taken close to the trees seen in the distance in Image] and looks in the opposite direction along some of the stretch of path seen in that image. As on much of the Bridgend Circular Walk south of Laleston, there isn’t really a footpath to be seen on the ground here. The image, and some others submitted from the area, look along the course of public footpaths as indicated by maps, and by features such as the locations of gates for walkers passed through when out taking the pictures.
