In 1924 what is now 20 Weald Way was Bramble Cotes, home of Maurice Dudley Hawgood, uncle of the photographer. To date photo within a few months, in June 1924 he advertised in the Surrey Mirror for a boy about 15 to help in garden, rough work in house, able to drive and look after a small pony and trap, but by March 1925 an advertisement here was from someone called Baldwin. The estate agent sign in the photo is from King and Everall of Caterham. In 2021 "The Move Market" website https://themovemarket.com/ has a photo of 20 Weald Way, clearly the same house.
