One label on the gate says it was donated by the Oxford Fieldpaths Society in 2011. The other: "Studdridge Farm. Wildlife Conservation area. Please keep your dog on a lead or under close control. Please keep to the footpath." The fine wooden fingerpost has signs from the Chiltern Society. The public footpath crosses the drive to the farm.
