This photo shows the letter box fixed into a front wall at Swan Bottom HP16 9NH. It has the VR cipher, meaning it dates from Queen Victoria's reign (1837-1901) and has a white plate mentioning that the last collection time is 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays and 9.00am on Saturdays. Also, a later collection is made at 6.00pm from the Postbox at Gt. Missenden Delivery Office, High Street. On the right hand side, it says: Other Collections Additional collections may be made throughout the day until the last time shown.
