Monument Buildings, originally built as offices for the North Eastern Railway, 1902-08, in the Jacobean Revival style, now shops. Adjacent to the former Prince's Dock, and next door to the Ferens Art Gallery. For an as yet unknown period, the premises housed the External Planning Department of the City Council's Telephone Undertaking.
