A tunnel is being built to divert the Leighton Buzzard Railway track under a road that is under construction for new housing developments. The new tracks will be laid after the railway's running season has ended and will be ready for use early in 2022. The developers are paying all costs for this work and the railway will end up with another interesting aspect for passengers.
