The footpath runs right through the courtyard at Common Barn Farm. The farm is a working farm which also offers B&B accommodation to visitors seeking to "get away from it all" which they certainly can here, considering its relatively remote location. The courtyard appears to be an area where guests can relax outside, with chairs and a picnic table being present. Also present is an unusually located Peak and Northern Footpaths Society sign (No 436) which is dedicated to Brian Morrison (1934-2018).
