Hill Close is a rare surviving group of 19th-century detached leisure gardens, recreated by a trust and a lottery grant, gardened by volunteers, and now open every day. Visitors can explore all the plots, encountering heritage apple varieties, old shrub roses, listed summerhouses, unusual garden plants, flowers everywhere, lots of veg and soft fruit. https://hillclosegardens.com
