Probably early 19th century in origin, but as the inscription has completely weathered away years ago, the precise date and dedication are difficult to ascertain. It was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101367614-pedestal-shaped-memorial-approximately-12-metres-south-east-of-the-chancel-of-the-church-of-st-mary-magdalene-albrighton#.YRaQfYhKjIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1367614 in 1984.
