The old Station House at Marsh Gibbon & Poundon has been enlarged over the years, and now looks upon the works for the East West Railway reconstruction. The old bridge has had its deck removed and it will be replaced with one fit for the 100mph express trains which will soon pass this spot. There will be no new station here; intending local travellers will have to go either to Bicester Village or Winslow stations in the future.
