2008 - more closed shops in Merrow as planning rolls on, rebuilding these ca 2010 with 3 new shops and flats above them. The baker is closed, the Indian restaurant is still currying favour with customers (and will make a comeback), the travel agent has flown to Bramley, and the Lloyds TSB bank still opens for business. www.guildford.gov.uk
