Built in 1929 and occupied by Woolworth’s until 2003 the building at the corner of High Street and Cornmarket was officially known as “Montague Burton Buildings” though it’s doubtful whether anyone (including the postman) knew. Following a major renovation it is now occupied by Dunne’s Stores. This detail is on the Cornmarket side.
