A wider angle showing the stone post which is on the eastern side of Ripon Road, and is at the junction with Springfield Avenue. Towards the base of the post, facing onto Ripon Road, is a benchmark which is about 1 foot from ground level. The stone has been repointed, and the benchmark has also been filled with cement, although the outline of the mark still remains.
