Flanesford Priory and Priory Farm from Goodrich Castle keep

A view across to the former Flanesford Priory and the farm which now incorporates it. Flanesford Priory was founded by Sir Richard Talbot of nearby Goodrich Castle in 1346 and dedicated to St John the Baptist. It was a small house of canons-regular of St Augustine. Only the refectory and some associated buildings remain, and the whole is incorporated in Priory Farm. There is a good view of the fine frontage of this priory from the B4229 which passes by it just before Kerne Bridge over the Wye (if travelling eastwards). See Image] for example.
