A jetty or overhanging first floor has been added to The Box event space building in Fargo Village; this photo was taken in September 2019, soon after its construction. The jettying creates more space and alludes wittily to the historic timber-framed houses of Far Gosford Street, with their first floors overhanging the street. This jetty has been executed with steel girders rather than timber, however. Far Gosford Street, though not its timber-framed houses, can be seen in the background.
