Numbers 6 to 14 Pittville Lawn is a terrace of 5 houses with a single house and two pairs of quasi semi-detached houses. Numbers 8 and 10 are seen here, number 6 is seen at Image and numbers 12 and 14 are seen at Image Built circa 1848 of stuccoed brick with fine detailing, slate roofs and iron railings and balconies. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1387459 Cheltenham is located at the foot of the Cotswold scarp with the small River Chelt flowing through the town. After the discovery of mineral springs in 1716 Cheltenham became a spa town and many Regency houses and other buildings were erected. The town is home to the renowned Cheltenham Festival, four days of horse jump racing culminating in the Gold Cup, held annually in March at the nearby racecourse.
