The grandly named Royal Hotel is a traditional community pub near to the Coventry Canal in Foleshill. It looks like a row of vernacular cottages onto which a grand, but single-storey, front has been added. The pub was apparently known as the Help Me Through the World from around 1799 to 1859. https://www.historiccoventry.co.uk/cph/main/pub.php?pg=help_me_through
