The pub Image and Image has stood on this corner for many years, but has been closed for the last 3 or 4, and a local paper reported last week that it was due to be demolished a couple of days ago. Today's visit confirms that it's not actually been demolished (not yet, anyway...) but that it's been scaffolded and some work appears to be underway. It's one to keep an eye on over the coming weeks. Edit - rather less than two weeks later, it's reduced to a pile of rubble and timbers Image
