Downholme is a village that lies on the A6108 road between Leyburn and Richmond, close to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The population as recorded in the ONS Census of 2011 was less than 100 and in 2015, North Yorkshire County Council estimated the population of the village to be 50 (https://bit.ly/3f1Tfek pdf document).
