"Inspired by 19th century steam powered machinery, Froguristic, the Steampunk frog, has hopped into Stockport for a nostalgic visit to see where the old blends with the new. The 16th century Underbank banking hall is the perfect resting place where Froguristic can imagine steam trains chugging over the Victorian viaduct in the shadow of the 21st century Stockport Exchange." Outside the NatWest bank on Great Underbank is one of 21 frogs installed across the town centre as part of Stockport's Gigantic Leap Frog Art Trail. Froguristic is sponsored by St Ann's Hospice https://www.sah.org.uk/ and was created by Jane Clements.
