I have not gathered enough data to deliver any definitive results, but on my travels this year, which admittedly haven't been particularly extensive, I have encountered more abandoned cars and 4x4s in the Inverness area than everywhere else combined in my whole life. Sometimes they are actually in the middle of a crop field, and sometimes just rusting away near a fence or farm track like this one.
