Sitting on the junction of the road that leads to Whitburn and the road that leads to West Calder, this house, while no doubt not as exceptionally narrow as it first appears, is still very eye-catching. I'd guess it is around ten years old now and its narrowness is probably enhanced by the fact that it is tacked onto a pretty big stone building. It does go out a bit at the back on the left where the stone building stops but keeps its front dimensions until that point. I never got a chance to measure it as, rather annoyingly, three people decided to have a long chat in front of it just after I took the picture. Judging by the doorframe though, its internal width can't be much more than eight feet.
