Looking from the centre of the horseshoe-shaped footbridge over the Forth & Clyde Canal towards the centre of Kirkintilloch. The bridge was part of a £12 million project to transform Southbank into a new business and leisure park. The bridge itself cost £800,000 and was completed in 2008.
