Like Pistol Makers Loan Image The name of the street is a nod to the history of Doune. Pistols were made in Doune from the 1640s and were renowned for their high quality. Thomas Caddell was one of the best known gun smiths. See https://doune.co/home/heritage/doune-pistols/.
