On Hartcliff Road just east of Fullshaw Crossroads, where the A628 takes a right-angled turn, is the third remaining stone 16(XVI) miles to Rotherham on the old Saltway from Cheshire. In June it was hidden in tall grass but is easy to find opposite the entrance to Paw Hill Farm.
