These days it seems quite remarkable to find a telephone box that contains a working telephone, but this one at the western end of Wem's High Street, close to the junction with The Grove, has one. There is a reflection of the adjacent timber-framed Dial Cottage and two posters campaigning against the proposed Shrewsbury north-west relief road.
