Old storehouse, St Mary's

The most interesting, and possibly oldest building in the village. This old store house was used for the collection of goods used to settle a tax due to the king under Udal law, known as 'skat'. In 1692 a band of French Privateers raided the store but were chased off. The building currently having repairs done to the roof.
