Direction Sign ? Signpost on Bramble Road in Daws Heath

Image: © John V Nicholls Taken: 27 Dec 2012

Located at Daws Heath on a grass triangle in the centre of the junction of St Michael's Road, Bramble Road and Lansdown Avenue in the former Thundersley parish. 3 arms, 1 missing, and annulus finial. It was made by the Royal Label Factory of Stratford-on-Avon and is the last by this maker to survive in Essex. The missing third arm pointed to Rayleigh and was probably removed when the gap in the central reservation in the A129 was closed off.
