Raising of Black Bridge complete

The Black Bridge, east of Machynlleth, has been raised by one metre to reduce flooding of the line between Machynlleth and Shrewsbury. The route was closed for some six weeks to allow the work to proceed and was reopened on 28th June, with just some residual work to complete.
