Possibly as old as 1686, but equally likely to have been built in the early 1700s, this magnificent building was Category A listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200385858-18-east-shore-pittenweem-pittenweem#.YNuS-ehKjIU & http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB39978 in 1972, at which time it was undergoing some restoration work.
