Classic early post-war housing development with concrete roadway. The prominent circular tower in the distance at Prenton Reservoir has since been demolished. The bus is former Birkenhead Corporation 153, now in the green and cream livery of the Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive. It is one of the final batch of Leyland Titan buses with Massey bodywork delivered to Birkenhead in 1967. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
