The flags advertise Gunsgreen as a House of Secrets. It was built in 1753 for notorious local smuggler John Nisbet. The house now opens with a small museum. Nisbet's Tower stands in the background and is now a holiday home for rent. https://www.gunsgreenhouse.org/history-of-gunsgreen.html https://www.thecastlesofscotland.co.uk/the-best-castles/stately-homes-and-mansions/gunsgreen-house/ https://www.gunsgreenhouse.org/history-of-gunsgreen.html
