Penitent's Walk and also Nun's Walk are near the River Tweed in Coldstream in Berwickshire. They were named from the walks from the 12th Century Priory that stood in the centre of Coldstream. Nuns from the Priory are reported to have used carts to fetch the dead and injured from the Battle of Flodden in 1513.
