The houses here were built by Linden Homes with the first ones occupied in October 2013. The road leads off Priory Road and effectively surrounds the new Roman Catholic church of Our Lady of Lourdes. The land was in fact previously owned by the church and used for allotments; its sale raised funds to build the new church. The distinctive arts and crafts design of the houses is intended to match the architecture of the church building.
