Originally dating from the early 19th century, although the shopfront and canopy are more recent additions. Salters Court was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101054374-3-lower-bar-newport#.YNOY2OhKjIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1054374 in 1978.
