Obviously the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and the field was yellow, which all contribute to a nice picture. Nevertheless I still feel that this corner of West Lothian is one of its most picturesque bits, and probably the most picturesque if just passing through by road. Obviously there are great spots all over the county, but they are usually hidden, requiring a bit more off-the-beaten-track exploring than is necessary round here.
