The outlet from New Pond. Marked on maps with this name, but on the council leaflet as Lower Lake, this is the older of the two Earlswood Lakes, owned by Reigate and Borough Borough Council as part of Earlswood Common. It was first mentioned in 1363 and was probably constructed as a fishpond.
