In the foreground is West Waterloo Dock. The narrow point just beyond had a swing-footbridge, then beyond that is Princes Half Tide Dock. Beyond that again is Princes Dock and the Royal Liver Building. The M.V. Munster was heading for Dublin Ferryport.
