The tower is the newer part of the church but still Tudor. St. Nicholas is an ancient parish and church. The church was restored during 1991 to serve the new housing development of Warndon Villages to the north east of the city. The church building is Church of England, but at the time of the recent restoration the church was established in a partnership scheme with the Methodist and United Reformed churches.
