The roundabout at the end of the York bypass is a notorious blackspot for holds. The A64 beyond is a single track and traffic backs up to the roundabout. It is traffic light controlled but vehicles are stuck in the middle unable to exit. I think our coach was stuck in five mile tail for over an hour. The traffic lights changed five times during our progress around it. The roundabout has a nice display of buttercups and daisies.
